Will + Samantha had a simple vision for their wedding weekend; to fill it to the brim with authentic moments, and to party hard with their loved ones. That vision alone will naturally create an unforgettable experience, but they planned their destination wedding against the stunning backdrop of Half Moon Resort, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Destination weddings have always held a special place in our hearts. What could be better than leaving dreary Pennsylvania in December for a Jamaican destination wedding? The dappled light, the sea breeze, the crystal clear water. The weekend felt like a daydream for us which held us spellbound. Beachside bonfires, amazing food and drinks, and the most raging dance floor were only a few of our favorite highlights. And the tree frogs that sang us to sleep each night were an added bonus.
As if all of this wasn’t beautiful enough… Will + Samantha are also two of the sweetest, most hospitable people that we’ve ever met. They wanted their friends to know each other more deeply before throwing this amazing wedding weekend, so they pulled together a small music festival to ensure these friendships were making life-long memories. They put together gift bags for all of the guests and vendors as soon as they arrived to the resort with authentic Jamaican snacks, drinks, and hot sauce. And Will went above and beyond in the surprise gifts that he gave to his groomsmen. Simply put, they are no-nonsense in their pursuit of the people around them. Their genuine approach to life and relationships made a lasting impression on us. We will literally never forget this dream of a weekend that you both gave us, it was such a gift.
